A space that supports and celebrates the work of artists across Northern California. This is a Capital Campaign about EXPANSION and SUPPORTING the organization while we grow.
Since opening the doors of the Veterans Memorial Hall in 2017, the Museum of Northern California Art has honored the integrity of this nearly 100-year-old building while activating it as a vibrant cultural hub, presenting diverse exhibitions, concerts, receptions, and art education programs for our community.
But there is more waiting within these walls.
An additional 9,000 square feet of possibility.

Space for performance.
Classrooms.
Workshops.
Room to grow.
With the spirit of community at the center, we believe this vision can be built together. The work ahead is significant, including electrical upgrades, abatement, accessibility and foundational improvements, but so is the opportunity. As we expand into the back space, we also expand what is possible for monca and for the region we serve.
There are 102,000 people in Chico and over 15 million across Northern California. If each of us contributed just $50, we could realize this vision together faster than we might imagine. Each brick matters. At a time when connection matters more than ever, spaces for creativity, expression, and belonging are not a luxury. They are essential.
20% of each Brick by Brick donation directly supports general operating costs, ensuring we can strengthen our foundation as we grow. The rest of it will go to the Capital Campaign.
