Initiated by the City of Chico Arts Commission, the “Power Up Public Art Project” incorporates art on public utility boxes around Downtown Chico, adding beauty to everyday objects you may otherwise pass by without thought.
monca is the proud sponsor of the utility box artwork titled Down on the Corner by artist Tim Buc Moore, visible on the corner of 1st Street and Broadway.
The utility box art project functions to beautify the downtown area while supporting the efforts of local artists. Many thanks to the artists and other sponsors who made this project a reality.
