Don't Kill the Messenger

Don't Kill the Messenger

Art is never silent. Even in stillness, it speaks—through symbol, gesture, color, and form.

Join us for the unique and provocative exhibition titled Don't Kill the Messenger, on view at The Museum of Northern California Art (monca) from Thursday, August 28 - Sunday, October 12.

The artworks included in the exhibition carry a message: whispered truths, layered meanings, quiet resistance, or declarations that won’t be ignored. Pieces vary from vibrant and playful collage to metal sculpture and quilled paper art.

This exhibition highlights the subtle and the striking, the personal and the political—work that reaches beyond the surface to tell us something you want us to hear.

Celebrate the dual opening of Life is Short, Art is Long - Hippocrates AND Don't Kill the Messenger at the upcoming reception on Friday, August 29 from 6-8PM. Opening receptions are always FREE and open to the public. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
