Delve into bright spaces and imaginative scenes featured in the upcoming exhibition titled Life is Short, Art is Long - Dobbin von Puck. Check out the exhibition from Thursday, August 28 - Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Dobbin von Puck, aka Dr. Robert Puckett, paints what he sees between his ears. Von Puck views his paintings as colorful poems stuffed in a bottle and thrown into the sea of time. If retrieved someday, they must speak for themselves, tell their own story. The painter will not matter. He is but a point of reference.
Eternal truths hide in timeless moments. Such moments are captured in universal symbols, which have the knack of remaining relevant. One can never be sure how successful such endeavors will be. Only time will tell.
Celebrate the dual opening of Life is Short, Art is Long AND Don't Kill the Messenger at the upcoming reception on Friday, August 29 from 6-8PM. Opening receptions are always FREE and open to the public. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
