Celebrate a brand new exhibition titled H2O during the upcoming opening reception at monca on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6-8PM.
H2O is a juried exhibition featuring water as subject matter. Artists were encouraged to interpret water literally or metaphorically and in all its forms. Imagine waves, ice, mist, along with tranquility, strength, and clarity.
The exhibition will be on view at monca from Thursday, December 4, 2025 through Sunday, January 18, 2026. If you can’t make it to the opening reception, make sure to visit during the museum’s open hours, Thursday - Sunday, 11AM-5PM.
Fun facts about water (thanks NASA & UCGS)
- Only about 3% of Earth’s water is fresh.
- Humans are made of 60% water.
- Water dissolves more substances than any other liquid.
- Even pure water has a slight blue tint to it.
- Ice is less dense than liquid water, which is the reason ice floats!
All opening receptions are free and open to the public. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
Get your friends together for a fun evening out at the museum!
