Be a part of the solution - protect and sustain your neighbors by donating goods today.
The Chico Food Project is a local non-profit food collection program formed to help provide non-perishable items to existing Chico food pantries. The organization delivers food to the Chico Food Locker, the Jesus Center, the Salvation Army, Vectors For Veterans, St. Vincent De Paul and CSUC Hungry Wildcats.
If you are interested in regularly contributing to the Chico Food Project, sign up for their Blue Bag program. The Blue Bag program invites you to shop for one non-perishable item each time you grocery shop, adding it to your Blue Bag when you arrive home. Then, on the second Saturday of every month, a volunteer picks up the Blue Bag from your residence, leaving a new empty Blue Bag in its place for you to fill up.
