Join us at monca on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6PM - 8PM to celebrate the opening of two fantastic exhibitions, Vivid Visions: Exploring Place in the Far Reaches of Northern California, and Women Artists: Our Collection.
The Vivid Visions exhibition showcases the diverse and impressive works of Belinda Hanson and Carol Jenkins, two artists whose residence in Northern California impacted their perspective on art making and human experiences in nature. Works on view include abstract paintings, sculpture, and more!
Women Artists: Our Collection highlights the talented artists whose work is included in monca’s permanent collections. The vibrant, colorful scenes by multimedia artist extraordinaire, Maria Alquilar, will stand with many pieces from the Reed Applegate Collection which features works by a total of 29 women artists.
Bring your friends and family for an evening of art, conversation, and community!
The reception is free and open to the public and features a no-host bar.
