Join local Chico multimedia artist and sculptor Arlene Minkler for a Hidden Prayers Workshop on Saturday, April 19 from 1-3PM at monca.
Paint and decorate large tubular beads however you like. Then write prayers, blessings, or wishes for those you love and tuck them into the beads, eventually stringing them together into a wonderfully unique strand that will be on display at monca throughout the rest of the “Family Portraits” exhibit.
Bring friends for a contemplative and relaxing experience.
Basic painting and bead decoration instruction will be provided and all materials are included.
