Celebrate the festive season and the hard work of local makers who participated in this year's Gingerbread House Contest during the Closing Reception & Awards Ceremony on Saturday, December 20th from 3-4PM.
The public has the opportunity to vote for their favorite gingerbread house on view during museum hours until Friday, December 19th at 5PM. The house with the most public votes will be awarded "People's Choice."
A panel of local judges will select "Best in Category" and "Best Overall." All awards and related prizes will be presented during the culminating celebration.
The cost of attending the event is included in the price of museum admission, $5 General Admission, free for all students with a valid school ID.
Along with the awards ceremony, enjoy a gingerbread-themed art project and light refreshments. Get the whole family together to kick off the holiday season!
All participants can take home their gingerbread houses after the closing reception. Remaining houses not picked up by the designated time on December 21, 2025 will be discarded.
