On Oct. 8, monca (Museum of Northern California Art) sponsored a bus trip to Oliver Ranch in Sonoma. It is a private 100-acre sculpture park, available only to nonprofit groups.

The Museum of Northern California Art (monca) is having a free block party for all ages 6-8 p.m. Friday at the monca building — Chico’s old Veterans Hall — at 900 E. Washington St., off The Esplanade.
