Art Opening Reception for Elizabeth Newman Kuiper

Join us in welcoming our new exhibit, Artistic Alchemy, by Elizabeth Newman Kuiper!

Kuiper’s three-dimensional assemblages are made of found objects and materials collected over many years.   A subtle beauty emerges from the weathered, worn, and tattered elements that the artist intuitively combines into enigmatic sculptures.

Also being shown are her photographic works.   Over the last 15 years, Kuiper has used  a cell phone camera to capture her subjects.  Enlarged and printed on various fine art papers and fabrics, the photographs are transformed into painterly images.
